Is Pay Per Play Advertising The New Advertising Model For The Future?
Pay Per Play Advertising is a relatively new advertising model developed by NetAudioAds Pay-Per-Play (PPP). The premise of this model rests on advertising where a short snippet of audio (usually 5 seconds) is embedded in the source code of your website and every time someone visits that site, the audio will play automatically once for 5 seconds. NetAudioAds™Pay-Per-Play (PPP) advertising is an advertising channel that may be set to take the web by storm. Because of the size and scope of this deal (backed by one of the BIG 5 search engines whose name has not been revealed to us), Pay Per Play advertising is poised to become a world wide business media event.
PPP works on a bid management system similar to Google AdWords and will compensate publishers just like Google AdSense but with one critical difference: Publishers (website owners) can earn revenue on 100% of their traffic without the need for clicks.
Pay Per Play is a way for advertisers to serve a 5 second audio advertisement to website visitors. It is a way for advertisers to target their 5 second audio ad to specific interests, demographics and geographic locations.
PPP offers advertisers a more cost effective advertising solution that has been providing positive Return on Investment (ROI) for over 2 years. PPP offers advertisers a way to reach their target audience and is the only form of media whose impressions and ad placements are verified by an independent 3rd party.
NetAudioAds™Pay Per Play advertising is not new. It has been running for 2 ½ years, has over 66,000 advertisers and over 550,000 websites that serve PPP ads to their visitors. The 550,000+ websites that currently serve these ads are responsible for up to 43 million streams (impressions) of advertisers' 5 second audio ads on a monthly basis.
When I first heard about this advertising concept, I was not very impressed. My first reaction was that this was going to be yet another disruptive, invasive way to annoy people and drive them away from my websites real fast. But I looked into it further, listened to some of the sample 5 second ads and was sold on the idea. The ads are Brand advertising topically related to your website or blog’s content much like Adsense and they are not intrusive or annoying as pop-ups would be. Plus they don’t take up any space on your site and I do like the idea of my ads getting a 100% conversion rate.
