Wooden Car with 2 Body Styles - Convertible and Coupe into One

An Ukrainian designer named Vasily Lazarenko gave up his regular job to built an ingenious wooden car that took him 1.5 years to complete. But what makes this car so unique in addition to being made out of wood is the fact that the vehicle features two different car body styles crammed into the vehicle. One side of the car is a classic convertible with what appears to be a retractable roof and yellow tinted windshield and windows. The other half of this unusual two door car is a coupe with a wooden roof and a clear windshield.

Underneath the hood, there is a fully functional 100hp engine. This is an amazing and fascinating achievement. Read on for more fascinating cars made out of wood.

Wearable Universal Remote Controls - The Multi-Chalk

Tobi Kim invented the Multi-Chalk which is a universal remote control that can control everything, everywhere!

"It’s a soft electronic device designed to slip on anything with a button," notes Yanko Design. "It can be designed to compliment your outfit and style. With a little simple programming, just about anything can be controlled from it by turning the disk in various directions. Just be smart and don’t use it during a big football game. The guy with the colorful button is always the target."

That is some out-of-the-box concept. A remote control not just for everything but for everywhere! More pictures after the jump.

Storage Cabinet Glows in the Dark-Sotirios Papadopoulos's Full Moon

Sotirios Papadopoulos designed this Fullmoon cabinet for ENNEZERO using ecologically-friendly paint. The Fullmoon glows in the dark and in that sense, as far as I am concerned, this is a creation that has the dual function of being a storage piece of furniture and a work with artistic value. There aren’t too many cabinets out there that glow in the dark. The Fullmoon will be on display at the SOHO temporary gallery in Milan during the “dEMOsign” exhibition April 18-20, 2008.

Holographic Touch Screen Personal Computer Concept-The Cup PC

In the future, the usage of computer will be more intuitive and simple than now. People will not need to learn how to use PC and the computer system will have effect on behaviours of user's everyday conduct, like using a cup.

The concept 'The Cup' is inspired by people's common behaviours in everywhere and every moment. Especially, usage of cup is one of the most general and daily behaviour. In offices, home, even at shops, we can see and use them.

Through the observation of actions such as collecting cups, putting on the desk them, and pouring water into cups, we will suggest an innovate way of dealing information and data in our future.

‘The Cup’ is based on high technology such as holographic touch screen and infrared communication skill. It means that everybody can access computer without connection device such as USB and interaction, store and check the information by only physical behaviours (grapping, filing up and pouring, etc)
This way is intuitive method to be distinguished other previous operation and the strongest thing of this new PC is that anyone can access state of the art PC via analogue object and behaviour.

Though an actual sultry island is not for sale, it’s the AquaGlide AirPort, which can be all yours having a wide range of some truly amazing features. For mobile water venture, a sturdy strap in one corner fastens to a towrope for towing up to four people. Furthermore, several inflatable dock systems can be linked collectively with the help of eight stainless steel mooring rings. The towing strap can fix to an anchor (not included) keeping the platform primed for the day or the season. Hardwearing 600 denier cover defies tears, scratches, and grazes.
